What do you get when you put a room full of motivated, intelligent, passionate and beautiful women from all walks of life together? A successful International Women’s Day event by Team Boss Lady Productions in conjunction with PYNK Magazine.
Each and every powerful woman at this brunch event, held at Ricardo’s Ocean Grill in East Harlem, spoke from the heart on challenges within their respective industries and how they are making strides to “inspire change” via their individual efforts, with a special dedication to mentor organization Youth At Risk.
Thank you to every woman who joined us for this special day, to Ricardo’s for being a partner of BossLady.tv and our sponsors: Indique, Flat Fitty, Twenty Grand Vodka, Sprayground, Monster Products, LRG Girls, Married To The Mob, FluD Watches, SICURE and Tres Chic Cupcakes.
Earlier this week I celebrated the launch of my limited edition Boss Lady x Reebok Classics sneaker at New York City’s premier recording studio, Engine Room Audio.
The evening kicked off with a private dinner hosted by Get ‘Em Girls and CIROC, a Middle Eastern feast in honor of my heritage and the inspiration behind my sneaker, Princess Jasmine from Aladdin, with a select group of “boss ladies.” The main event, sponsored by Reebok, Monster Products and VIBE Vixen included attendance by rapper Maino, Vin Rock of legendary hip-hop group Naughty By Nature and Three 6 Mafia member, DJ Paul, to name a few. Guests enjoyed exclusive giveaways, including the Boss Lady limited edition sneakers, Monster Products’ latest Inspiration headphones with a unique headband designed exclusively for the Boss Lady x Reebok sneaker, gold duffle bags by Sprayground, hair vouchers from Indique and magazine and beauty items from VIBE. Attendees also enjoyed an open bar provided by RedBull. Special thanks to Blend Showroom and Princess London for my outfit on the night 🙂
The highlight of the night was when I presented a $10,000 check to New York Youth at Risk, the non-profit organization committed to transforming the chaotic lives of young people through persistent and compassionate mentoring I’ve worked with for three years now. “You are an inspiration to us all,” said Claudette C. Faison, Youth at Risk founder.
