Kendrick Lamar’s Debut Album Scores High Sales; Prepares For Australian Tour

Proof positive hard work and talent are a killer combination, Kendrick Lamar‘s debut album Good Kid, m.A.A.d City (Top Dawg Entertainment/Aftermath Entertainment/Interscope) is yielding some very impressive results. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the album sold 241,000 copies this week (its first), sits atop the Billboard Rap and R&B/Hip-Hop charts and is number two on the mainstream Billboard 100—right behind Taylor Swift’s Red.
